I recently became aware of Groupon and have made a number of rather fun purchases through them. Many of the purchases were things I have wanted to do for some time but could not justify the cost. When Groupon cut the cost by 50-80%, I jumped at the chance. With multiple new deals everyday, I frequently find something that piques my interest, and I find the adventure of what I term the ‘Scavenger Hunt for Deals’ part rather fun as well.
A bit about Groupon: It was started in 2008 and went viral, currently exceeding 150 markets in North America and 100 markets in Europe, Asia and South America; with 35 million plus registered users. Groupon feature deals, generally geographically based, in a number of categories: Two personal favorites being leisure and food (I’m an expert eater).
